In 2000, electronic outsource purchased the proprietary transformer and coil technology that had been developed since 1944 by radio television products corporation (ratel), which had been an industry leader in magnetics. This purchase included all product and process knowledge covering power transformers, rf transformers, coils, chokes, and other types of magnetic solutions for avionic, commercial, and military applications.
